Durham's Southpoint Area along I-40

The route from RTP to Chapel Hill cuts through the southern part of Durham County. Ever since Southpoint mall was built in 1996, the area has seen significant growth, now starting to reach to Jordan Lake and Cary. The American Tobacco Trail is also an important recreational amenity that adds to the area's accessibility.
